Brazilian Bikini Wax - Do it Yorself

To prepare for a honeymoon or wearing a summer bikini, some women schedule a bikini (or Brazilian bikini) wax at a salon, spa, or other personal-services business.

To perform a bikini wax, a female technician applies warm wax to a woman's pubic area, places cloth strips atop the wax, and then removes them when the wax hardens by pulling the material off the skin.

Why Have a Bikini Wax?

For a woman with profuse pubic hair, a bikini wax will ensure she isn't embarrassed when showing a bikini line when wearing a thong, string bikini, or other skimpy swim suit. Also, some women and their partners believe that a hairless or nearly hairless pubic area looks and feels more erotic, and say that hair removal makes oral sex more enjoyable.

If you are considering having a bikini wax, keep in mind that the pubic hair removal process can be uncomfortable and that the hair will grow back. Stubbly pubic hair is itchy, and may hook you on continuing to wax.

How To Brazilian Wax

Brazilian waxes are becoming more and more popular, and as the summer weather approaches, you might be considering it as well. Here is what you can expect to happen.

Difficulty: N/A

Time Required: N/A

Here's How to do a Brazilian Bikini Wax:

1. How much hair is actually removed? The entire pubic region is waxed, leaving a small section (2-3 fingers wide) above the vaginal area.

2. Why do women want to go to this extreme? It allows women to comfortably wear revealing bikinis and lingerie.

3. What does one wear while this waxing is taking place? It is possible that you could be provided with a paper thong, but chances are... you won't.

4. What steps are taken? To begin, the hair is snipped with scissors and then wax is applied a little at a time. The hair is removed and the procedure continues. Stray hairs may also be tweezed.

5. Does this procedure hurt? Many women are surprised to find that it does not hurt as much as they expected it to.

Tips:

1. The down side of a Brazilian Wax... you have to let it grow back in (to some extent) before you can have another.

2. Another down side... you might experience red bumps or ingrown hairs.
